YK11 is a "Myostatin Inhibitor" Myostatin is the "Signaling Protein" that tells your body how much muscle to or not to build. It is thought that some individuals have less Myostatin present and because of this are able to build very large amounts of lean muscle tissue. Others have significantly more and are unable to build muscle by a certain point. YK11 is a research SARM that inhibits Myostatin and allows an organism to have much more muscle growth.
It does this by increasing Follistatin levels. Follistatin in turn inhibits Myostatin allowing for greater muscle growth to take place. YK11 not only works at the muscular receptor to increase lean mass but also has the ability to work at increasing osteoblast production, this relates to the strengthening of bone and can help reverse and prevent bone wasting disease.
This could also be a great adjunct to recovery from broken bones or post surgery. YK11 also seems to create a "Muscle Hardening" effect in which a denser and more thick musculature can be created for the research subject.
